Alright, time for the first update in my challenge! It started as an early morning in Newbark town. Our young hero awoke to find that Prof. Elm was looking for him, so with that he quickly raced off to his lab. Once he arrived, he learned that Prof. Elm's friend, Mr. Pokemon, had made a discovery, and wanted our hero, Talon, to go and see what it was. Prof. Elm gave Talon a Pokemon for the perilous journey, and with that, our here and his new friend Chikorita, or Rosebud, as Talon had named him, were off to Cherry Grove City. However before they had time to leave Newbark Town, a strange Pokemon trainer named Carlos challenged Talon. He had a Slowpoke who's level equalled Chikorita's. The battle was soon over, earning Rosebud quite a bit of Exp. Once arriving in Cherry Grove, Talon got a tour of the town, and received a Map card. He then embarked on the Route just north of Cherry Grove, and soo arrived at Mr. Pokemon's house, where Prof. Oak bestowed upon him, a Pokedex! After giving Talon this gift, Oak went on his way. Talon then found that Mr. Pokemon's discovery was a Pokemon egg!! With such excitement, Talon procceded to leave Mr. Pokemon's house, when he got a call from Elm saying that something was wrong......

One day, after watching a TV special about the Red Gyarados, Lucas went to see his friend Barry. Barry dragged him to the lake after picking up a bag and journal. While at the lake, Lucas and Barry met Prof. Rowan and his lovely assistant. Find a briefcase they left behind, they picked it up, when, Starlys jumped out at them!
After telling his mother what happened, Lucas was told to go visit Prof. Rowan. But first, he decided to train. When he got to the lab, he met Dawn, and Prof. Rowan gave him the Turtwig. He also recieved a Pokedex. He was then told totell his mother that he was going to complete the pokedex.

I'd also like a challenge on my Pokemon Platinum. I can get ALL 493 Pokemon so go wild! No furret/sentret, bidoof/bibarel, raticate/rattata, or zigzagoon/linoone. Anything else is fine
